(west of McKinney)

Daily Courier Gazette, July 29, 1923

HORSESHOE PLUNGE SWIMMING RESORT AT FOOTE

M. J. Carter, proprietor of the Horseshoe Plunge, was a business visitor at our office Saturday afternoon. He is advertising his pleasure resort in the columns of the paper to inform us that his patronage of the Friday night was the best that he has had so far this season. The Horseshoe Plunge is located seven miles west of McKinney on the pike near Foote. Mr. Carter is mighty well pleased with this McKinney patronage.
