Bush Springs

(south of McKinney and north of Fairview, along the Interurban tracks)

BUSH SPRINGS TO OPEN FOR SEASON MONDAY EVENING

Daily Courier Gazette, June 16, 1924

Larger and Better Than Last Season.

Bush Springs, larger and better, more modern and with more accommodations, will open this evening about 6 o'clock for the season, according to Edgar H. Bush, owner, who will give the resort his personal attention this season.

For some months Bush Springs has been undergoing enlargement and improvement and the owner is anxious this year to have the patrons who are so generously supported the resort last year to come back this season to see the marked improvements in the place.

"It is thirty degrees cooler at Bush Springs." is the slogan adopted and Mr. Bush is expected a record business this year. A continuous flow of water over the dam and the newly made improvements, he thinks, places Bush Springs in the front ranks of such natural resorts in this section of Texas.

Ample provision is made for the convenience of those who desire to drive out and have lunch on the grounds at the Springs. The resort is located a little distance south of McKinney just to the right, of the main highway before crossing the H. & T. C. Railway tracks.
